Remote and Hub Information

Just Eat Takeaway.com uses 2 different city models:

1. Hub cities
2. Hybrid cities

During the onboarding to JET you will be informed about the two different models. It is possible that we operate both systems in one city.

If you work as a hub courier, you collect your equipment (e.g. e-bike, clothes, food box) and start your shift at the hub you are assigned to. Couriers work is done using the Scoober app.

If you work as a remote courier, the shift starts when you logs into the app. To do so, the courier must be at a selected starting location. Usually it is agreed with the Courier Coordinator/team leader. The main difference to driving as a remote courier is that there will be no hub and the courier will use their own vehicle (including bicycles). In addition, we send a package of equipment to the courier containing food box and clothes.
